It’s about time

It’s been quite a few days since I’ve updated really anything of mine on the internet. I’ve been pretty busy but not doing much of anything at all.
Yesterday Sarah and I went to Beaumont and walked around the Port of Beaumont, I had never been there before it was pretty cool. It’s pretty much just a park to hang out at, also we went to the Salt-Water Dam and Terrell Park. At Terrell Park we went into the carcass of a building and walked around inside, it was very rad.

Other than all that I haven’t really done too much that’s very interesting. Ben and I went to New York Pizza the other day, and it was epic.

I pre-ordered the new NOFX cd the other day too. Actually I pre-ordered the CD and LP. I got them both for $23.33 total and the CD comes with a free single with 2 unreleased songs and the LP comes with a free 7″ with 2 MORE unreleased songs, also they are both VERY limited and I can’t wait to get them.

I found out that one of the Agalloch cd’s that I have is going for $175 on eBay, so I’m about to sell it so I can have some extra cash for Vegas.

Vegas Fund: $395 with a month and a half to go

Things have been great lately.

Today I went to school and finished up some math homework and then came home and took a nap until 2:40 and then I went to work. Luckily I only had to work until around 4:30 and then I clocked out and went home to change.

I got a phone call from Carley, I was surprised to see her name on my caller ID, I hadn’t seen her in at least a year and I was just thinking about her. She was in town and we went and hung out and drove around doing the shit we used to do when we hung out a whole lot. I miss those days, that was fun.

Then I went and got Sarah and we hung out, went to Pleasure Island and shit. We went inside the Pleasure Island Club, you know, the really creepy old abandoned restaurant? It was cool, very weird in there. After that she reminded me that I had a coupon for Hollywood video that would erase all my late fees if I rented one, ONE, movie or video game. So, as any other normal person with >$100 in late fees would do, we went to rent a movie. We ended up getting Saw V, it was pretty decent I guess, not as good as the others though.
The womans face that checked me out at the register was absolutely priceless when she saw how much late fees she had to take off when I handed her the coupon. At least that’s what Sarah told me, I didn’t actually look at her, I was scared I would laugh. I just took her home, and now I’m about to head to bed.

School tomorrow, and I’m off for 2 days. I am stoked.

I haven’t seen Cathryn in awhile, I miss her, but good thing we’re supposed to hang out tomorrow.
LESS THAN 2 MONTHS UNTIL VEGAS!!!

I also think that Sarah and I are going to go to Austin one weekend soon and hang out, live cheap. Should be a good time.

So, I’m sitting at the bank for subway and I decided to come write a blog about last night but apparently I did that when I got home around 3:30am and I don’t remember doing it. I guess I really was tired last night and didn’t realize it. Haha

Well that blog is pretty accuratie and sums up exactly what I was going to say today so, awesome.

Oh yeah, I took out my snakebites. No more.

what a day

Well, today has been pretty freaking cool. I woke up and went to one class, not the cool part. When I came home I took a short nap until about 2:30, that’s about the time Sarah disrupted my nap. But it’s all good.

I went and got her and we came to my house and watches season 2 of weeds. The whole 6 hours, it was pretty ridiculous but totally worth it.

Afterwards we went to ihop where I hadn’t been in forever it seems and Ben met us there. We stayed for around 4 hours just talking. It was really cool.

I enjoyed every part of my day for the first time in awhile.

Work at 10. Then I’m not too sure what’s going on, someone hit me up! Let’s hang out!

Pepper Pots

Just got back from the show, it was great. The best live show I’ve ever seen, easily. The Pepper Pots are a soul/ska band from Spain and they have 11 people in their band. There are 3 lead singers, all of which are female and amazing singers. Tonight was their first time ever in the United States and I got to witness it. Trust me, these girls are going to get somewhere. I will guarentee it.

Well tomorrow is the day, finally. Patrick and I are going to see the Pepper Pots and Los Skarnales, I am so pumped. Were gonna leave about 5:30 and just hang out in Houston for a bit before we go to the show.
Cathryn, Robby and I watched Friday after Next tonight, Next Friday is definitely the best of the Friday series. I was a bit disappointed at Friday After Next, C’mon Ice Cube.
Work was alright, I went off on Julie today, enough to make me think I was going to get fired. But instead she appoligized to me and all was well. I also did hella prepwork today.

I’ve been talking to Sarah, the past few days the entire time I’ve been at work so it’s has made work go by a lot quicker. She’s pretty rad.

Star Fucking Hipsters is Sunday, I couldn’t be happier.

Snakebites = 6 gauge. I think I’m gonna stop though, probably take them out, I’ve had enough of stupid little piercings. Prince Albert, you’re next!

Full of mail!

So, today when I got home from school there was a plethora of mail for me waiting on the table. Apparently, everything I’ve ordered lately decided to come today. I got my hat, NOFX DVD and my car mount for my iPhone.
My hat came, but they sent me the wrong size, so I have to send it back and get them to send me the correct size.

The NOFX DVD was an amazing surprise that I wasn’t expecting until at least Wednesday or Thursday because it doesn’t even get released to the public until tomorrow. So, that’s pretty cool that I got it a day early, eventhough I haven’t watched it yet. Oh well, when I do it will be a great 6+ hours of NOFX.

My car mount is awesome, it’s going to really come in handy. It kind of sucks because I don’t have a FM Transmitter that works for my iPhone right now, but I’m gonna get one so I can watch movies in surround sound while I drive, safe right? I pretty much just mounted it today and looked at it to see if I could see it properly while driving, not just for movies but for the GPS also. this is what it looks like:

As you see, I can watch anything on it. From GPS, to iPod even to Ashton Doty’s drunken wet t-shirt video. It’s pretty epic.

No Swastikas today

Well, today I was backing up my parents computer. I found some pictures that are worth noting. At least saving here, because my hair was so long and epic. I almost want to grow it back, that would be cool. Anyway here they are:

My hair was pretty much as long as Katelin’s was in those pictures, it’s almost hard to believe. I wish I wouldn’t have cut it off kind of, it would probably be to my ass and super metal. Haha.

With that said, the hair is going after the SFH show, that’s going to be the retirement of my mohawk. At least that’s the plan, I mean, I did order a flat-cap so I can wear it. Maybe that’ll keep be in key with keeping my hair. I do like it, but it’s better being bald. Back to this (yay or nay?) :

Also, Jeremy, my brother, and his family came over today to eat. It was pretty cool to sit with them all and eat. My nephew Jackson, turns out, loves my EFG (Guy Fawkes) ((V for Vendetta)) mask. I took a picture of him wearing it, here:

I also found a picture of Cayden playing on my old drumset, probably like 3 years ago.

I don’t guess too much more has happened today. I definitely don’t want to go back to school tomorrow. It fucking sucks.

I was searching today

and I found this, it’s pretty much what I want, but the swastikas aren’t quite right. But I still love the idea.

I’ve been drawing a lot more lately, I’m trying to learn how to incorporate them more into stuff that I’m drawing. I feel like I am becoming obsessed, but it’s cool, I like it.

I think I am going to order some needles and some white ink and do one on the palm of my hand. We’ll see.
