Reno Flight

I’m on the way to Reno right now… we left about 2 hours late because of some nonsense with the radio. But all is well, not too much longer until I get tattooed!

It’s pretty cool how I can use a laptop on the plane and stuff… I’m getting some videos of the flights and different places at the airports but we haven’t really been anywhere other than airports yet.
I’ll upload the videos and some pictures when we get to the hotel tonight.

EDIT: We’ll the tattoo went awesome it looks great. There’s a picture on the myspace page.

We’re about to go to sleep. Breakfast at 6am!

In Austin!

Well, our flight from Houston to Austin landed about an hour ago or so… Were just hanging out at the airport until 5:20am when our next flight boards. I’m not sure what exactly I’m going to do for these 6 hours but I did find a wall outlet to charge my phone and computer. Also I bought a WiFi connection so I’ll have the internet all night. I’m sure it will go by faster than I think.

I tried to go to the vending machines but I only had $10’s and $20’s and the change machine wouldn’t take my $10, and I don’t want to walk around with about $15 of quarters in my pocket, so I’m fucked for food because apparently everything closes around here at 9pm. Also, we’re no where near anything cool in Austin so going out is out of the question. Shit.

It hasn’t even been a full day yet, and I already miss Sarah a ton, I tried to call her but no answer =(
I’m sure I’ll hear from her soon. Hopefully.

I think that’s all for now but I’ll probably update again before we leave Austin.

Much Anticipated

It’s been a hell of a long time since I’ve done anything on here. I haven’t really been too keen on the computer lately. I’ve used it but only for a few minutes at a time.

Things have been going great:
The trip to Vegas is coming up very soon. I’m still not prepared.

I’m becoming attached to a certain someone of the opposite sex.

School is almost out.

I really feel like I should have a hell of a lot to write about but I can’t think of much of anything.

New NOFX album is almost out, although I’ve had it for about a week and a half. I am excited for my cd and vinyl to come in the mail though, I really want to get the Limited Edition 7″ and CD that’s coming with it.

Fuck I need more to write about!!

Lately, things have been great. I can’t complain at all for any reason.

Yesterday, ben worked for me and Sarah and I went to spend the day in Houston, something about that girl, we went to resale stores and stuff. Kind of just bullshitted around until 10:15 or so and we went to the 59 diner to eat.

After we ate, we went to Walters on Washington and saw Millions of Dead Cops, they were bad ass. The sound was great, the people were fun and it was packed. Great, great show. I wasn’t expecting Sarah to like them but she did I’m glad. MDC is easily the fastest band I have ever seen play live.

Today is my last day of school until Monday, I’m off Friday and Sunday. I’m looking forward to accompanied sleeping in.
Man I feel like a little kid.

Lions, tigers and bears

I really need to get on here more to update, I just haven’t had the time really. I can’t remember the last time I was on an actual computer, thank god I have an iPhone and I can type this from work.

Yesterday, Garrett, Sarah and I went to the Houston zoo. It was a blast, I hadn’t been in a few years, same with Garrett but Sarah had never been to a Zoo before, ever, blasphemy. I had a great time, as great as it’s possible to have at the zoo. Sarah really enjoyed it too, I was happy to see that she did.

Everything has been going pretty well, I haven’t been doing to much other than hanging out with Sarah and stuff. I have had a major lack of sleep as of late, but I am not complaining at all I like accompanied sleep. Speaking of accompanied sleep, I can’t wait to get off work and go nap.

Last night after the zoo Ben, Sarah and I went to ihop. As soon as we got there we ran into Joe And Branon Garcia. We all had pretty interesting coversations and when we left we went to Joes house and watched Lion versus Shark. If you haven’t heard of it, it’s an awkward love story with Jemaine Clement from the Flight of the Conchords in it and it’s shot in New Zealand. I guess it was an alright movie, nothing to special I don’t suppose, it had it’s funny parts but it was a very Napoleon dynamite-esque movie and I’m not a huge fan of movies that are similar to Naloleon Dynamite for some reason. We left Joes at about 3am and Sarah and I came to my house and fell asleep. Woke up around 7:15 and took her home and now here I am. Work. Until 12, 1 or 2, I’m not exactly sure when but it can’t come soon enough; I definitely want a nap.

I haven’t felt this way in almost 2 years, Its good to feel like this again.

Not too big of an update today, just getting off work at 11. About to go get Sarah, we’re going to watch weeds.

It’s about time

It’s been quite a few days since I’ve updated really anything of mine on the internet. I’ve been pretty busy but not doing much of anything at all.
Yesterday Sarah and I went to Beaumont and walked around the Port of Beaumont, I had never been there before it was pretty cool. It’s pretty much just a park to hang out at, also we went to the Salt-Water Dam and Terrell Park. At Terrell Park we went into the carcass of a building and walked around inside, it was very rad.

Other than all that I haven’t really done too much that’s very interesting. Ben and I went to New York Pizza the other day, and it was epic.

I pre-ordered the new NOFX cd the other day too. Actually I pre-ordered the CD and LP. I got them both for $23.33 total and the CD comes with a free single with 2 unreleased songs and the LP comes with a free 7″ with 2 MORE unreleased songs, also they are both VERY limited and I can’t wait to get them.

I found out that one of the Agalloch cd’s that I have is going for $175 on eBay, so I’m about to sell it so I can have some extra cash for Vegas.

Vegas Fund: $395 with a month and a half to go

Things have been great lately.

Today I went to school and finished up some math homework and then came home and took a nap until 2:40 and then I went to work. Luckily I only had to work until around 4:30 and then I clocked out and went home to change.

I got a phone call from Carley, I was surprised to see her name on my caller ID, I hadn’t seen her in at least a year and I was just thinking about her. She was in town and we went and hung out and drove around doing the shit we used to do when we hung out a whole lot. I miss those days, that was fun.

Then I went and got Sarah and we hung out, went to Pleasure Island and shit. We went inside the Pleasure Island Club, you know, the really creepy old abandoned restaurant? It was cool, very weird in there. After that she reminded me that I had a coupon for Hollywood video that would erase all my late fees if I rented one, ONE, movie or video game. So, as any other normal person with >$100 in late fees would do, we went to rent a movie. We ended up getting Saw V, it was pretty decent I guess, not as good as the others though.
The womans face that checked me out at the register was absolutely priceless when she saw how much late fees she had to take off when I handed her the coupon. At least that’s what Sarah told me, I didn’t actually look at her, I was scared I would laugh. I just took her home, and now I’m about to head to bed.

School tomorrow, and I’m off for 2 days. I am stoked.

I haven’t seen Cathryn in awhile, I miss her, but good thing we’re supposed to hang out tomorrow.
LESS THAN 2 MONTHS UNTIL VEGAS!!!

I also think that Sarah and I are going to go to Austin one weekend soon and hang out, live cheap. Should be a good time.
